The same versatile drive circuit so many have fallen in love with, now in gold finish! A celebratory version now that Calamity the album is out in the world. Also a version that aims to do a little good: 15% of each sale will go toward Trans Lifeline, a grassroots hotline and microgrants 501(c)(3) non-profit organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.

Calamity Drive is a pedal developed by Plain Speak as we were working on our album Calamity. We wanted something that could be the dirty channel of a clean amp, but also send a dirty amp over the edge. Something that could be smooth and mid forward, bright and sharp, or open and gnarly. We teased apart the elements of some excellent overdrives that came before, then put them together with a few twists of our own, and added a massive boost in front for good measure.

The Drive section has five controls: VOICE, GAIN, TONE, VOLUME, and an ART toggle that determines the amount of articulation and clean bleed.

The Goose section has one control: GOOSE!

Calamity Drive uses soft touch switching and true relay bypass. Use only a 9V center negative power supply - voltages higher than 9 will damage the pedal.
